Celebrating new LEADers: Regenda leadership development
We recently hosted a special graduation event to celebrate incredible staff from The Regenda Group who’ve just completed our 10-month bespoke leadership development programme, LEAD.
The graduates, their mentors, and colleagues from across Regenda came together to celebrate and congratulate our future leaders who took on the challenge to Lead, Evolve, Achieve, and Develop (LEAD)!
Now in its ninth year, the LEAD programme is all about developing skills and building future leaders. Designed in collaboration with Regenda, the programme is open to any Regenda colleague who’s ready to grow. The programme offers a blend of workshops, projects, and mentorship designed to build skills that matter—like communication, decision-making, and strategic thinking.
As part of the bespoke development, all learners who take part in the LEAD programme get the chance to be mentored by a leader within The Regenda Group alongside monthly workshops and development sessions. Each learner will aslo gain a Level 2 accredited Leadership and Management qualification as part of the programme.
As part of the celebration event, graduates shared their stories about how the programme has given them more confidence, helped them find their voice, and even changed how they approach their everyday work.
Sean Rothwell, Director of People Services at The Regenda Group, said:
“This is our ninth year of running the LEAD programme and the graduation event is always a day we look forward to as it provides a group of our talented ambitious colleagues with an opportunity to showcase the results of their hard work as well as the chance to celebrate their success.
“By investing in programmes like LEAD, we’re providing opportunities for our staff and building a future where everyone has a chance to grow. Creating opportunities is part of our core purpose, and I’m excited to see how this year’s graduates continue to develop and achieve their goals.”
Sarah White, Customer Service Advisor at Regenda Homes, was awarded ‘Delegate of the Year’ by her peers on the programme. Sarah said:
“On the LEAD programme, I’ve been able to grow my confidence to speak in front of audiences. I’ve been given the opportunity to meet people I hadn’t met before across Regenda and build relationships that will last a lifetime. LEAD has been one of the best experiences for me, and I will always remember the bond I developed with my project team and the whole group.”
Laura Swainston, one of our Learning and Development Specialist, said:
“It has been an honour to work alongside such a diverse and talented group of colleagues throughout the LEAD programme. To see them grow in confidence and develop skills of leadership has been gratifying as a facilitator as well as inspiring. Thanks for letting me be part of the journey.”
Well done, everyone!
