What our learners say

TLF Impact testimonial Mia

"Learning from a piece of paper was just not for me. I really didn’t enjoy learning at college and the course wasn’t right for me either. I signed up for The Learning Foundry and the ‘Picture Your Future’ traineeship was ideal to show me all the options that were out there. My confidence has grown so much since and now I’m in an apprenticeship role I love."

Mia, Former learner

TLF Impact Lucy quote

"The Learning Foundry has helped me so much with my confidence, my self-esteem my timekeeping. It’s helped me get my life back on track and make something for myself and my daughter. I always thought I’d just be a care kid and wouldn’t go far in life and without this course and my amazing tutors and classmates I honestly don’t know where I’d be today."

Lucy, Former Learner

TLF Impact testimonial Rory

"After coming to The Learning Foundry I’ve got my confidence up, I’m meeting new people, trying new things and doing things I wouldn’t have thought I’d be doing.

"Through The Learning Foundry I got a placement with the Combined Authority, inside Steve Rotheram’s office, the Metro Mayor of Liverpool. I don’t think I would’ve got that opportunity anywhere else, to get somewhere that special."

Rory, Former Learner
